Dexter, MI — Residents curious about the value of their heirlooms and garage sale finds will have the chance to uncover hidden treasures at the upcoming antique appraisal event hosted by the Dexter Heritage Guild.
On Saturday, May 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., professional appraisers from the esteemed DuMouchelles auction house will be available at the Dexter Area Museum, located at 3443 Inverness Street, at the corner of Fourth and Inverness Streets, across from St. Andrew’s Church.
Community members are invited to bring one or two items for a 15-minute verbal appraisal session. Each item will be appraised for a fee of $10, payable by cash or check. For two items, the cost is $20.
On the day of the event, participants may call the museum directly at 734-426-2519 for questions or to inquire about last-minute availability.
All proceeds from the event will go toward the ongoing preservation efforts of the Dexter Area Museum.
