Comedian Johnny Vegas is set to open an antique shop as part of a new television series, Little Shop of Antiques.
The eight-part show, airing on Discovery+’s Quest channel, will follow Vegas as he establishes an emporium in the North West of England. Viewers will watch as he hunts for antiques, restores them, and attempts to turn a profit in hopes of making the venture a permanent business.
Announcing the series in a video, Vegas shared his excitement, stating, “Finally, after a lifetime of collecting the eclectic, the antique, bits of everything, I’m out buying, hopefully trading, and I think it’s going to be an exciting ride.”
Vegas is no stranger to entrepreneurial endeavors—his previous project, a glamping site made from vintage vehicles, was documented in a Channel 4 reality series.
According to Quest, Little Shop of Antiques will feature “hilarious disasters, unusual finds, and touching moments” as the comedian embarks on his latest business venture.
