The Builth Wells National Antiques Fair, a cherished event in the antiques community, has officially become part of the prestigious International Antiques & Collectors Fairs (IACF) group. This move marks an exciting new chapter for the biannual event, held just outside Builth Wells at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd.
IACF expressed its enthusiasm about the acquisition, with a spokesperson stating, “We are delighted to add the Builth Wells National Antiques Fair of Wales to our esteemed portfolio. This renowned event, beloved by collectors and dealers alike, will continue under the IACF banner with the same passion and dedication that has made it a key fixture for antiques enthusiasts.”
The fair takes place twice a year, with the first event scheduled for May 3-4, followed by another on September 6-7. Both weekends will feature an impressive selection of antiques, vintage items, and collectibles, attracting top dealers from across the UK and beyond.
“We are eager to welcome both returning and new visitors to the Builth Wells National Antiques Fair of Wales,” the spokesperson added. “Whether you’re an experienced collector or simply curious, this event promises a memorable experience in the heart of Wales.”
IACF Managing Director Will Thomas emphasized the significance of the fair to the organization, saying, “As a Welsh family business, we are thrilled to help grow the National Antiques Fair of Wales. We have no immediate plans for major logistical changes at the venue and will ensure that dealers can retain their usual positions. For those who haven’t exhibited at Builth Wells before, now is the perfect time to join. We hope to make this event an even more exciting addition to the IACF calendar.”
